After joining Google in 2014, she worked on creating & operationalizing industry-leading policies to tackle complex legal and regulatory challenges (including EU data protection, counter-terrorism, child safety, etc.). She went on to co-develop a program supporting product teams across Google in mitigating abuse-related risks and integrating with proper anti-abuse fighting systems ahead of launch. In subsequent years, she joined Airbnb, collaborating closely with public policy teams on regulatory risks in the home-sharing space; and then worked on creating processes to better plan for and evaluate the impact of platform policies at Twitter.

Beyond her day-to-day professional responsibilities, Dona serves as an advisor for the Trust & Safety Professional Association – which supports the global community of professionals in the content policy space – and is also very passionate about career development and mentoring the next generation of technologists. Although she has now lived in the U.S. for over 15 years, Dona is a proud native of Togo (West Africa) and grew up in France where she completed a Masters in International and Humanitarian Law.
